Nice menu, good local spot on the river.
I stopped in for lunch and was greated warmly by the bartender. She was engaging, helpful with the menu and could carry a conversation well which is always nice. I ended up getting the lobster roll which was a pretty large portion for a lobster roll at their price. I would get it again but it seemed like it needed one more light ingredient to bring it all together.
This is a great place can't wait till the fall to go there in new York
There server was very attentive. It was slow for a Friday night. We were only one of 4 tables. The place is very clean and modern. Love the nautical theme. The bread was served with red wine and shallot butter. Thar was awesome and different. The scallops were tender and delicious. Overall the experience was great. The only negative was my husband was charged for mayo on his burger. Burgers should come with mayo. We have never been charged for mayo on a burger.
Can't figure this place out. Really nice inside but staffing is always off. There's some real issues here.
Foods ok. Wait staff ok. Although we were the only ones there for lunch with avreservation, the bathrooms had not had any attention from the night before. Not my first choice.
I was really hoping i would like it here but the food was terrible seafood was off we got the crab cakes very fishy and i ordered the seafood trio...lobster did not taste right was so disappointed. the drinks were good that was about it
Literally the worst service I’ve ever received at a restaurant.Waited for an hour and a half for someone to come take drink orders. The bartender actively avoided eye contact so she did not have to serve us. When the bar finally cleared, I still had to ask to be waited on. She made some excuse as to why she was too busy to serve us, upon which we decided to bail. Did I mention it was a SATURDAY night?!
They have a beautiful 2-tier deck for outdoor drinking!
Food was good. Service was terribleThey brought 2 of the 4 meals and more than 10 minutes later they brought the other 2 meals and then had an attitude about it when we expressed our displeasure. Also had to go to the bar myself to get a glass of wine and they were NOT busy at all.
My friends I went out on a Tuesday evening. Place your order and waited and waited for our food. Only 2 people working -they were hostessing, waiting on tables, working the bar....maybe they were doing the cooking too . The food was good but the fries could have been hotter. First bite lukewarm. We'll go back again...when they have more staff. Love the outdoor seating.
Nice friendly atmosphere
Food was good, 10 minute gap between all dinners being served, 2 people eating slowly were mostly finished before other 2 dinners served.Service was sub par, even though few tables were occupied, our waitress never checked back, never refilled water, never brought requested extra napkins, but did smile when she brought the check 🤔 Sorry, but would not recommend and will not return.Disappointed water was served with plastic straw already inserted.
Phenominal Food and drinks with a great location!!!
Decent looking place but hardly anyone there. Took a meeting over beers with a good friend of mine and the bartender was very pleasant. We didn't eat but I live near by and the place just isn't living up to its potential.
My wife and stopped by on a whim and all we can say is WOW. Wonderful food and suberb service! We now have a new favorite restaurant in Baldwinsville.
Just went there for second time, beautiful day, went to Farmer's market in Bville and headed over for dinner around 6pm. Got a table overlooking the Seneca River. Service was great and allowed time for cocktail and menu perusal. We both ordered wedge salad (very crisp and not skimpy on bacon or blue cheese). I got the creole red snapper, nice and spicy with moist dirty rice. My friend got the stuffed chicken, such a larhe portion, she brought some home. Was a bit slow for a Tuesday night in nice weather, but that made the wait staff very friendly and relaxed. Would go again, great views and food!
Really like that its right on the water. Hostess at the Chef and the Cook was a little snippy when when accidentally parked in their parking lot. Would not recommend that place.
The food was fantastic! Service was fast and employees were sociable and helpful. Definitely going back again!
Okay food and service. Didn't have champagne glasses when I ordered prosecco and just put it in a wine glass like that was okay. Didn't ask if that's what I would have wanted
Nice atmosphere, but the food is mediocre. The chicken wings were flavorful but were only warm when served, not hot. I'd visit again, but would choose only to have a couple beers unless the food improves significantly.
We really enjoyed our meal here and the view form outside was great. We were lucky to have fisherman on the other side of the river catching all sorts of big fish. The service was good. It was fairly expensive but you pay for what you get in this world.
Had a crab cake po'boy and the crab cakes were not very flavorful. The sauce they put on it was the only delicious aspect. Wings were pretty good. Wasn't overly impressed overall.
Do yourself a huge favor and eat somewhere else. They claim they are "fine dining" but this is the furthest thing from that. 4 customers in the whole place and still took a half hour to get two fish dishes out to us. Not to mention one of them was undercooked - how do you claim you are fine dining and undercook FISH?! Plus for these ridiculous prices you might as well take yourself next door to Chef and Cook and enjoy a great meal with a better atmosphere.
Worst service ever. The girl was on the phone the entire time and didn’t check to make sure our food was ok. She was annoyed we ordered in the first place. There was no one else in the place. I understand last customers are annoying but we came in well before close. Won’t be back
Great food and excellent service!
Pretty empty when we went the day after Christmas. Food was pretty good but a little expensive. Not a bad choice if you aren't on a tight budget and/or paying for very many people.
The service was very good. The menu felt limited, but appropriate for the location. The pricing seemed a tad high, but again, appropriate for the menu.Food was good, not great. I had the pan seared scallops over risoto, I appreciated the saltiness of the scallops because the risoto was a bit bland.Overall I had a good experience here.
Nice, very clean place. Food was okay. Chicken sandwich was very good, shrimp taco was okay. Used tiny little shrimp. Clams were good.
Parking is terrible. Food was good and atmosphere is nice
Terrible service waited for almost half an hour to get drinks and over an hour for our food. The water and ice tea was awful and their food was not good. Will never return to this place.
I can't say enough about this restaurant!! It is right on the water and have seating outside. The service was very top notch and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!! Will definitely be going back!
Great Pub Food
Food was good but too hot and outside sitting was closed
Great except for the drunk guy from cortland that never leaves. Literally here every weekend talking about who cares. Get rid of him and you've got yourself another repeat customer.
Great food, excellent service. If you can go during the week they seem to be a lot slower so even better
Food was excellent! Ate on the deck on the 2nd floor ... fine dining menu.
Greated well. Seated out doors quickly. Both people were very nice. We ordered shrimp tacos and crab cakes. Took way too long for the food. Canned tiny shrimp were used. The taco shell needed to be half the size for the filling. What was there at least had a good flavor. No one asked us if we wanted another beverage, even water would have been nice. We were empty when we received our food. Crab cakes were fishy. It seemed the used the lowest grade crab. The meat was dark, my fist bite had shell. Beautiful ambiance right on the water. food was disappointing. Burger sliders looked much better
Awsome building. Outside facade no comparison to inside. Went down to lower bar and ate off upstairs menu. Excellent romaine salad. Parked across the street. I'll be back !
A good spot to chill by the river and have a beer and cheap, but good food!
I have gone here a few times. And every time I go, I say I'm never going back. The food doesn't taste bad, but it shouldn't take 45 minutes to an hour to get appetizers when there are 5 tables with people seated and no one has food. And the staff always says they are busy, but busy doing what? No one is eating, no one has food. Go anywhere but here in B'Ville.
Rude hostess seated us for a weekday lunch. She seemed like she was bothered that customers actually showed up (we were the 1st that day). Food was very mediocre. Wont be back.
We were the only two people on a Thursday afternoon. Just drinks. Bartender was nice. Country music was playing.
I cannot believe any of the good reviews. I heard the food was pretty good but the service was not. We went on a Sunday around 7:05p, not busy. Had to find someone to show us where to sit to start. Were seated and ordered drinks. Weren’t ready to order yet, so we asked for a minute or two to decide. Mistake. Waited for almost 20 minutes and nobody came back. We left money on the table for the drinks and left. Can’t tell you about the quality of food, but I can say that the scoop we received on the service was spot on! To those that did get service, congratulations. There won’t be another stop to this place in our future.
The free concert was moved from the Bud Amplitheater to the Suds Factory due to rain. You are on the river so you can watch the water flow by. Friendly atmosphere. Did not order any food.
I love the food 😍 it's so good but the woman up front was a little rude
Food was only okay. Ordered a stout, got a pale ale (suds brand) twice. When asked, waitress said it was stout, obviously didnt know the difference (you're kinda a beer bar, should know stout vs pale ale). Wait staff lacked enthusiasm, like they didnt want to be there to interact with anybody. At least the suds brand beer was good.
I love this place,, very nice location almost under the village of baldwinsville’s bridge,, food was good and the waitress was friendly
They have had pretty good food each time we have been there. It is a little pricey but not really expensive. Good atmosphere too, especially during the summer months. We have our company holiday party there and it is always good.
